Continuing Medical Education
The Department of Dermatology provides continuing medical education (CME) for the dermatology community. Weekly sessions, known as Grand Rounds, provide a forum to discuss interesting or difficult-to-manage cases and a state of the art lecture.
The program is approved by both Wayne State University and the American Academy of Dermatology for AMA Physician’s Recognition Award Category 1 CME credit.
The department hosts an annual Michigan Dermatological Society Meeting, usually held in November. The meeting is comprised of live patient presentations, resident lectures, and a featured guest speaker funded by the Hermann Pinkus Lecture Foundation.
